Terms of Service

Welcome to Stock Ledger. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Stock Ledger mobile application and any related services provided by the developer. By installing, accessing, or using Stock Ledger, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not install or use the application.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Stock Ledger, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2 Description of the Service

Stock Ledger is a pharmacy inventory and sales management application designed to assist pharmacies, clinics, and other healthcare facilities in managing:

• Medicine inventory
• Stock movement
• Sales records
• Expiry date monitoring
• Inventory reporting
• Related pharmacy inventory operations

Stock Ledger is intended solely as a business and inventory management tool.

3 Eligibility

To use Stock Ledger, you must:

• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age; and
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.

By using the application, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4 User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

You agree to:

• Keep your username and password secure.
• Notify the developer immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities carried out using your account.

The developer shall not be liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to protect your account credentials.

5 Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Use the application for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to hack, interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the application, its servers, or associated systems.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, lease, sell, or create derivative works from Stock Ledger without prior written permission.
• Upload viruses, malware, malicious code, or any harmful software.
• Use the application in any manner that may impair its performance or interfere with other users.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

6 Data and Privacy

Your personal information is collected, processed, stored, and protected in accordance with the Stock Ledger Privacy Policy.

By using the application, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7 Medical Disclaimer

Stock Ledger is an inventory management application and is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision support.

The developer does not guarantee the clinical accuracy of user-entered information.

Users remain solely responsible for:

• Compliance with all applicable healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) requirements.
• Compliance with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) regulations, where applicable.
• Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, dispensing practices, and patient-related information entered into the application.

Nothing contained in Stock Ledger should be interpreted as professional medical or pharmaceutical advice.

8 Subscription Plans and Payments

Certain features of Stock Ledger require an active Premium Subscription.

Payment Terms

• Payments shall only be made using the official payment methods designated by the developer.
• Premium access remains valid only for the purchased subscription period.
• Upon expiry of the subscription period, premium features may become unavailable until the subscription is renewed.
• The developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate premium access where a user violates these Terms of Service.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable once payment has been successfully processed, including where a user voluntarily stops using the application before the subscription expires, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

9 Intellectual Property

Stock Ledger, including its name, logo, software, design, source code, graphics, databases, trademarks, and all related content, is the exclusive intellectual property of Edwin Omondi (Edwinomondi49) and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

No part of the application may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission from the developer.

10 Availability of Service

The developer aims to provide reliable and continuous access to Stock Ledger. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The developer reserves the right to:

• Modify the application;
• Introduce new features;
• Remove existing features;
• Suspend services temporarily for maintenance; or
• Discontinue the application at any time.

The developer shall not be liable for losses arising from temporary interruptions or unavailability of the service.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for:

• Loss of profits;
• Business interruption;
• Data loss;
• Incorrect user-entered information;
• Loss arising from internet or network failures;
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from the use or inability to use Stock Ledger.

Users remain solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of important business information.

12 Suspension and Termination

The developer may suspend or permanently terminate any account where a user:

• Violates these Terms;
• Uses the application unlawfully;
• Attempts unauthorized access;
• Engages in fraudulent or abusive conduct.

Users may discontinue use of the application at any time. Termination does not extinguish obligations that survive under these Terms.

13 Changes to These Terms

The developer reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Where significant changes are made, users will be notified through the application or by other reasonable means.

Continued use of Stock Ledger following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14 Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Stock Ledger shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Kenya.
